World of Warcraft - Item Upgrade
The upgrade of items allows players to increase the level of equippable weapons and armor. This boosts the power of the gear, as well as sometimes adding buffs or rolling an affix again.

Any NPC that upgrades items can be located in the game. These NPCs can be found in the major questing areas or capital cities. Players can also find upgraders by visiting dungeons with high-level bosses, and by chatting with NPCs in their garrisons for their faction.
The World of Warcraft item upgrade system lets players upgrade the level of weapons, armor and trinkets. This procedure is similar to the gear reforging process in Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor. However instead of using currency, players need to visit an item upgrader to complete the process.
Item upgrades can be expensive, particularly when it concerns armor and weapons. Based on the upgrade path, each step up in the level of an item can cost many Valorstones and crests. The cost can be prohibitive for those who do not have the funds or are unable to grind.
The game allows you to roll a new item by using a special tool from the items menu. This option exchanges the upgraded item for an equivalent level 1 version with a different set of bonus effects. Requirements

Certain upgraded items can only be rerolled only if the original item was Unique, Rare or Epic. Exceptional items can also be rerolled, but the original stats are replaced by a flat-rate bonus. Rerolling a Rare or Epic item will result in the normal version, and doing the same with the Epic version will result in an elite version.
Upgraded items could have additional adjustments that can boost their performance and increase their stats. These additional modifiers do not come with the upgrade cost. You can buy them at the Trading Post, or through other players. Alternatively, they can be earned by completing specific missions in the game.
To upgrade a piece of equipment, you need to visit the NPC [Armorto upgrade a piece of equipment, visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko located in Central Flarine. You will require Power Dices depending on the item. (Dice 6 are dropped by monsters 21+, Giants and Bosses; Dice 12 from Bosses). You will also require various amounts of Minerals and Erons.
Time
Upgrades to items can be used to increase the stats of your ship and gear without having to level them. Upgrades aren't cheap, but they are a good way to increase your stats and not have to spend so much time fighting. It is important to understand the cost and benefits prior to investing your money or time.
Each upgrade increases the item's base stat to a certain extent and also gives the chance to obtain an additional substat. Full Post is a random and may range from a tiny increase in one statistic to a larger increase in another. Concentrate on the things that perform best in slots first. They will give you a more profit for your investment.
You can check the time required to complete an upgrade when you open your inventory and choose an item such as a ship, weapon or other accessory. The upgrade window will show the progress and anticipated completion time. In some cases you may be able to speed up the process by using a Glyph.

Players can also find upgraded items by using an Upgrade extractor or salvaging with a high tier salvage kit. Glyphs that are positioned on tools for gathering are able to be swapped.
By selecting the item and pressing the green button with a a rerolling arrow, a player can roll it into an upgradeable item. This will alter the layout and allow players to select up to six items to be used for "recycling". The item will be replaced by an item of level 1. Recycled items will not keep their current level or amount of resources used to upgrade them.
An item's maximum upgrade level is determined by its tier and the quality. Uncommon items can be upgraded up to an maximum of level six while Rare and Epic items can be upgraded to levels nine. Upgrades to items are added to the base statistics of the item which means that they will no longer increase after a certain amount.
